Q: Can I connect 2 hoses together, to make one 12ft hose?
A: No, the machines are calibrated for 6ft, adding hose will confuse the machine.

Q: Does my machine need maintenance?
A: Just cleaning, filters and humidifier tank need to be cleaned. The machine otherwise is maintenance free.

Q: There is a error code on my machine, what do I do?
A: Call our office and we are happy to assist you with the error codes.

Q: How long is the warranty on my machine?
A: The manufacturers warranty is 2 years.

Q: I have water in my mask, is this normal?
A: Yes! As the warm moist air-cools, it will “rain out” in your mask. Wrapping the tube will help reduce the “rain out”.

Q: My insurance has changed, what do I do?
A: Contact our office. Call (425) 673-3773 and press option #4.

Q: How often can I get supplies?
A: Masks and hoses are every 6 months. Filters are every 3 months. Call our office for more detailed information.

Q: Can Blue Mountain Medical write my co-pay off.
A: No that would be considered insurance fraud.

Q: My bill seems incorrect, what should I do?
A: Call our office (425) 673-3773 option number 4.

Q: Machines have gotten smaller and quieter since I was set up, can I exchange my unit for a smaller newer one?
A: No, your insurance company paid for the machine that you currently have. Unfortunately coverage is not available solely for a smaller machine.

Q: It has been more that a year since I’ve seen my sleep doctor and I need supplies, can I still get them?
A: Yes and No. You will need a new prescription. Without a current prescription, your insurance company may not pay for your supplies.

Q: I am starting to snore in my mask or I wake up with my mask off, is this normal?
A: No, you need to contact you sleep doctor. Your needs may have changed.

Q: I have lost a lot of weight. Can you drop my pressure?
A: No, that is a question for your doctor.

Q: Can you drop the pressure for me?
A: No, this requires a prescription from your doctor.

Q: I am going on a vacation; can you lend me a smaller machine?
A: No, the Department of Health forbids “lending” prescribed equipment.
